The United States has not yet decided to ensure that every citizen access health care services at reasonable cost. spends more on than any other country by far. Yet the status of US population, when compared with like nations, remains poor. system does operate efficiently, fares poorly in terms equity, and an illness injury industry many uncoordinated systems focused treating individuals rather improving status. There are lessons for us Cuba's system.
